Lisa Anna
Lisa Anna approached me for the creation of new visual content after being introduced through a mutual connection who had previously worked with me. From the very first conversation, it was clear that authenticity, calm and depth would be central to this collaboration.
As a studying clinical psychoneuroimmunologist, Lisa Anna translates complex scientific knowledge into clear insights about how physical complaints develop and where true recovery begins. She was looking for imagery that could support her scientific work while staying close to her personality.
Together we developed several concepts, selecting what felt most aligned with her. The main shoot took place on the beach, combined with two additional outfits. Despite the winter conditions in December, she remained composed and fully present throughout the shoot.
Grounded, intelligent and quietly powerful, Lisa Anna embodies a calm confidence that reflects both strength and authenticity.
Testimonial:
Joost is a very caring and professional photographer. From the very first moment, I felt at ease with him. He actively thinks along with you and pays attention to details that truly make a difference, such as creating a pleasant and safe setting where you can calmly change clothes and be yourself.
What I particularly appreciate about Joost is how clearly he communicates. He discusses in advance what does and does not feel comfortable and continuously checks in during the shoot. Because of this, I knew exactly what to expect and was able to relax in the moment.
During the shoot, his professionalism was evident in everything: his calm presence, his eye for light and composition, and his ability to sense what is needed. Precisely because he made me feel so comfortable, natural images were created that truly suit me. I experienced the collaboration as very pleasant and respectful and would recommend Joost without any doubt.
At the end of the shoot, the styling was reduced to a single blouse. The pace slowed and the focus shifted. We worked almost in silence, with only the sound of the sea around us. The final images were created in this moment.
